WHO WE ARE (हम कौन हैं )

The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) is the largest voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women in the world. Our divers Movement represents ten million girls and young women from 150 countries.

वर्ल्ड एसोसिएशन ऑफ गर्ल गाइड्स एंड गर्ल स्काउट्स (डब्ल्यूएजीजीजीएस) दुनिया में लड़कियों और युवा महिलाओं को समर्पित सबसे बड़ा स्वैच्छिक आंदोलन है। हमारा डाइवर्स मूवमेंट 150 देशों की दस मिलियन लड़कियों और युवा महिलाओं का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है।

For more than 100 year Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting has transformed the lives of girls and young women worldwide. supporting and empowering them to achieve their fullest potential and become responsible citizens of the world.

Our strengths lie in innovative non-formal educational programmes , leadership development, advocacy work and community action, empowering girls and young women to develop the skills and confidence needed to make positive changes in their lives, in their communities and countries.

The WAGGGS are divided into five regions.

1. Africa.

2. Arab.

3. Asia Pacific.

4. Europe.

5. Westen Hemisphere.

WAGGGS has five world centres -

4. Sangam World Center : Pune, INDIA (1966)

5. Kusafiri : Africa (2010)

WAGGGS 12-6-3 PLANNING CYCLE

The 2022-23 WAGGGS Global Strategy is an integral part of the WAGGGS " 12- 6 -3 " strategy and planning cycle. designed to improve how the Movement collaborates and aligns across national, regional and global levels.

The core elements of the "12-06-03" cycle are:

Compass 2032 : A broad. aspirational 12year vision for the Girl Guide and Girl Scout Movement. It can be used to set priorities. identify what needs attention. and strengthen our strategies.
